Monday came and everyone was so pumped up to receive the test results in their Principles of Finance subject. A multiple-choice exam had always been very challenging despite of already having a set of possible answers given. When Mr. Cruz entered the room, some of the girls were feeling giddy. “So let me read one of the best answers in class, besides the popular Jennifer Jones’ and the others of course.” he said in a friendly way. “Will you give me a chance to hear Kelly Thorne’s answer this time?”
“I can just read the answer to the first question Mr. Cruz.”
“Did I say I’m pertaining to the first question?” he said in a straight forward manner, making Kelly feel a bit nervous. “Just kidding, alright…you can read it. Question number six, in Henthorn vs. Fraser, it was decided that?”
“Where the panties contem-“ said one of the guys interrupting Kelly. “I mean, where the parties contemplate-“
“Let the lady speak Mr. Anderson.” He said calmly. “I didn’t know panties contemplate.”
Everyone in class was laughing so hard while Mr. Cruz was staring at Harry Anderson, one of the high achievers in class. Jennifer believed he was indeed the most intelligent one though she wondered why he said the word ‘parties’ wrongly. She suspected he must have done it on purpose and maybe he was gay to begin with. The situation just got more confusing after seeing Harry staring back at him, gently biting his lip. She started giggling again and decided to pretend as if she got the wrong answer.
“Acceptance must always be communicated to the person who makes the offer?” said Jennifer aloud. Everyone went quiet and focused on her.
“Ms. Jones, that’s obviously wrong and I know you aced the exam.” he said giggling. “Continue Ms. Thorne.”
“Where the parties contemplate acceptance by post, acceptance will be complete when the letter of acceptance is posted.”
“Perfect. You have improved so much Ms. Thorne.”
After lunch break, Jennifer got back to the classroom and saw Kelly looking out the window as If she’s having so many thoughts in her head. She was probably thinking of how she’d gone far just to get a passing mark in her Principles of Finance exam. Kelly looked behind her and saw Jennifer smiling at her. She smiled back and sat next to her. Jennifer pretended as if she didn’t know anything that happened between her and their hot teacher Mr. Cruz. They talked about how well they both did in the exam as well as the latest fashion trends that many girls have been talking about. As Jennifer was listening to her, all she could picture out in her mind was how Mr. Cruz fucked her good. It was a little bit disturbing for her but she tried not to think about it that much. After class, she thought of thanking Mr. Cruz for bringing her notebook to her so she went straight to his office to speak with him. The secretary let her in and she saw Mr. Cruz browsing through a handful of test papers. He set aside the papers he checked and opened a box. Jennifer was still a little bit speechless so she didn’t utter a single word. As he reached into the box, she reached into it as well to show as if she wanted to help. He turned to look at her in surprise and smiled.
“Oh hey Ms. Sexy Red Dress who pretended she got the wrong answer to question number six” he said in a sexy voice.
“Uh..not sure why you called me that and yeah..sorry I was just joking.”
“It’s not nice to mock other students who usually get it wrong you know.”
“No no, I wasn’t mocking anyone at all. I was just-“ she said nervously. “nevermind.”
“Anyway, I saw you leaving the hallway in a beautiful red dress last Thursday. I was still here until 7-ish to finish checking some test papers from my other classes.”
“Oh okay.” she said puzzled with his flirty actions. “I just came by to thank you again for returning my notebook.”
“That’s alright. No worries at all. You’re an awesome student Jennifer and your performance in my class is already making me happy. Keep up the good work.”
“Thanks..Yup, I will..”
“You looked hot in that red dress by the way.” he said staring into her eyes and touching her chin. “It’s cool to have hot and intelligent students. You know, beauty and brains.”
“Uh..none of my teacher ever called me ‘hot’. Isn’t that inappropriate though?” she said feeling uncomfortable, but she didn’t mind him saying it to her since she always had a big crush on him. “I hope you don’t mind but you don’t sound like you usually do in class.”
“Well, it’s just you and me here. It doesn’t matter. I like complementing my students in private as well, ‘coz I like you guys to feel appreciated, especially those who are very intelligent like you and I give confidence to those who are struggling in their studies. I guess a flirty way of saying my appreciation doesn’t matter since you guys are adults anyway. I don’t think maliciously about it. I’m just being real. Does that make sense Ms. Jones?” he said in a confident way and looking amused at the same time.
“Uh..it’s a bit different, but yeah..you got a point right there.”
“Don’t look into things too much. See you in class.” he said in a carefree manner.
